The Japanese Garden of Portland is one of the most beautiful gardens I have been to. I was struck by its textures gracefully working together with the light. These images are black and white so that the viewer must focus on the textures and not the color. Although I could not resist from leaving a few in color, being a girl from the desert I can’t help but be in aw of all the lush greenness in the middle winter.
